Walking Track Hours
Guests can walk or jog on our state of the art, cushioned Indoor Walking Track. 1 Lap is equal to .21 miles (5 laps= 1 mile).

Open Gym
Hoover Resident: Free of charge with valid Hoover address
Hoover Non-Resident: $5 per play session or $10 for the month
PHYSICAL Driver’s License is required per guest
(If you do not have a valid driver’s license, you must be attended by an adult that does have a valid driver’s license – electronic driver’s licenses are not acceptable)
The Hoover Met Complex is a Cashless facility and requires all payments to be made through credit, debit or Apple/Samsung Pay. We DO NOT accept Venmo or Cashapp.
Waiver/Code of Conduct must be signed by all participants
Guests 15 and under are required to be accompanied by an adult.
Basketballs/Volleyballs are available for use and must be checked out via protocol.
Rule following, Fun & Good Sportsmanship is required!
- Shirts are required
- No loud music
- No outside food
- No profanity
- No dunking
- No aggressive behavior
If you are intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, you will be escorted out of the building and banned from open gym re-entry.
PICKLEBALL HOURS
Pickleball is available on a first come, first served basis in The Finley Center. Please bring your own equipment.

Rules & Regulations
- Ages 18 & younger must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver prior to use.
- Ages 15 & younger must be accompanied by an adult, parent, or legal guardian.
All guests are required to sign in at the Guest Services desk, sign a waiver, and leave a collateral deposit for facility equipment rental.
Prices & Fees:
Hoover Residents: Be prepared to present valid proof of residency (current drivers license, utility bill or equivalent) from the past 30 days. Admission to the walking track or open gym is free to Hoover residents after proof of residency is confirmed with Guest Services.
Non-Hoover Residents: Fee is valid for an individual and/or family (up to 4 adults).
