THE FACILITIES
On our grounds, we have multiple facilities to host your sporting events.
The Finley Center, which we’ve dedicated to an upstanding member of the Hoover community, Robert O. Finley, contains 155,000 square feet of the newest and most versatile competitive and event-hosting space. From its 11 basketball courts, 16 volleyball courts, and suspended walking track, to its three meeting rooms, food court, and Hoover Climbing & Adventure area, you are bound to have an awesome time at the Finley Center.
The Hoover Met Stadium has hosted the SEC Baseball Tournament since 1998, and is also the home of the Hoover High School Buccaneers football team. With a capacity of 10,800 and a max capacity of 16,000 with temporary seating on the field, this venue is equipped to host large outdoor events.
The Outdoor Fields at the Hoover Met Complex include 5 NCAA-regulated Multipurpose Fields for soccer, football, and lacrosse, as well as a Baseball Complex that features 5 NCAA-regulated fields (one natural grass and four artificial turf) for baseball/softball.
The HMC Tennis Center features 16 hard courts and a pro-shop. We also have a PTR-certified Tennis Pro.
For adventurous travelers, we have an RV park equipped with hook-ups and Wi-Fi so that you can stay and catch an entire tournament or conference from start to finish.
The HMC campus also has a playground and splash pad, which are designed to meet everyone’s needs, including people with disabilities. They are free, and open to the public, with many amenities.WHY CHOOSE THE HOOVER MET COMPLEX?
